Is it possible to merge child cells?

Parent cell contains Order/Date/User/Status
Child cell contains order line information in one long string - I don't want this to be cut short by the parent column.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.  Thanks, Chris

Not sure if you can merge cells, but if you just have 1 child cell, you could use the PreviewText property of the report record object.

Thanks for the reply, that's pretty much what I decided to go with.

The ability to merge cells would be a very useful feature.
