Yes,

thats really good.
One suggestion for improvement. It would be fine if I can filter topics in "Active topics" so that only MFC or only ActiveX topics are shown.

I understand your point but suggest ActiveX users also looked sometimes in MFC part as many ActiveX problems related to Core problems and Core fix same time fix related ActiveX problems

There's a problem since the forums have been renamed. In "Active Topics" there may be the forum "Report Control", but you don't know if it's ActiveX or MFC. That's a bit annoying. I liked it better when the forum was called "Report Control ActiveX".

Could you please change some properties in the search area too?

1) Default to "Last Year" instead of "Last six months". Old posts are just as useful as new ones!
2) The "next search delay" should be less than 10 seconds. 20 seconds delay is way too much! If you mistype your query you have to wait... and wait...
3) Save the query! It's really painful when you hit "Back" in your browser (to modify your search) and it's gone...

My search string is still lost when I hit "back" in IE 7.0. Also, the hammer delay is the same (20 sec).
