I have an issue with a custom control I am adding to my commandbar. The control is a 3rd party combo from Arcadia (PowerCombo), when the form is displayed, the combo looks fine, but the first time I drop down the list, the combo moves to it's original position on the form. Once I resize the form the combo reverts to the correct position and the issue does not manifest itself anymore...UNTIL I restart the app; it happens the 1st time I drop the list down every time.
Also, a smaller question, would I want to add this control as a "temporary" control? I will be saving the state of the commandbars, but I would think I would always call the code that adds the custom control to the commandbar.
Thanks!

Try to place the control into a picturebox as a container

That's a good call for a workaround. The combo is still visible in it's original position as well, but I set it's .Visible to False and that seems to get around the issue. |
