Does anyone know if you can SaveState or use the save layout to keep track/set default positions of the Maximize/Restore of a docking pane? It was requested that one of our screens to have the position of a docking pane to be either maximized on loading up the application or to be set to the user's preference based on after they login.Currently we use the SaveState for the ReportControl to keep track of any of their modifications in a database. So the application remembers what they have modified.
We tried to SaveState the docking pane back in the day using 9.81 but we deemed that it couldn't be done. We are using 10.3.1 right now. |

I attached link to a little flash video of what we are wishing/speaking about. The SaveState in 10.3.1 (soon or later we are going to pull up 10.4.2) will save the docking pane position if the user is allowed to resize the docking pane by using the Splitter, Pinned,Grouped, and expanded. So it does work, just it doesn't record the position of Maximize and Restore of Neighboring Docking Panes with that option on. Thanks John |
