We have developed an application using Xtreme Suite Pro with VB6 under Vista Ultimate.

The compiled application works fine, but if we install the software (Install shield) on an XP-Pro Machine (VMWare) the color of an selected text in a textbox still remains in the XP-Theme color. We used the ugly XP-Green to Test all items with skin framework.

Any Idea what we can do ?

Hi,

Add manifest for your application. (Copy .mainfest file from our samples)

thanks, that works fine for the MS-Controls. But is there a workaround for the Xtreme Suit Controls? i.e. the ComboBox doesn't take the highlight color for it's list and caption.

:) Its great.

to be honest - its only solution for Vista and XP, if you run in Windows 2000 it will show system color.
