Null values for Date,number and double items

   Hi there!

I need to keep some date and numeric items without any value and I don't know if it's possible. 

Now when I create a date item (i.e.) without a value, it takes today's date but I would need it to be empty at all. The same for numeric items that take 0 and 0.0 values if they have no other.

Is there any way to do it? (I don't want to work with them as string items, over all in dates, cause the pop-up calendar is very useful)
