Hi

Its now driving mad, I cannot get XSPSetupAx_1300.exe to setup on Vista
I am logged on as the administrator ( The only user anyway)

It all runs through with no errors but when I try and run the samples the files are not registed.

If I turn off the UAC and run setup it works, but turning UAC back on causes the same error as before.

I have run setup within the command propmt with Run as Adminstraor still nothing

Could someone please help me.

Thanks

I used to use CJ on Vista without problems - maybe a complete uninstall and re-install?

You could also try running the Registrator app in the Codejock BIN folder (Run As Administrator) to see if that helps.

I have tried the Registrator but it didn't fix the problem, thanks for the idea though.

Example with the Codejock.Controls.v13.0.0
as soon as I try and use a control I get this

any Ideas

Hi

Thanks for the link to the post.
I have read through the ideas there, but I  already run vb6 as Admin, via the shortcut.
All the installs were run the same.

Do you know of anything else I could do

Thanks for your help

You can try to uninstall codejock, search for and delete all OCA files, then run CCleaner AS ADMIN and clean any links to broken dll\ocx files.

If the link above did not work then you have some reference to a OCA or something that is messing it up....be sure to run CCleaner as Admin or else it wont catch the things we need to fix.
