    Posted: 27 November 2006 at 10:32am
Hi,

I use ActiveX 10.3.1

I put a ReportControl in a form X
Form X has no border.
FormX.show (standalone) , I can edit in the ReportControl columns..

I use Form X in a DockingPane pane
I connot edit in the ReportControl

It seems like the ReportControl cannnot keep the focus. If I type very very fast in an editable column, I can type 1 letter only...

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Quick Question(s):
1.) Is this a mdi Child?
2.) Are you passing the handle to the docking pane as formX.hwnd?

If you are using the form to contain the Report Control, then change the form to a picture box, because there are form issues when sending messages back and forth from the parent forms to the client forms. Plus all the codejock controls have some sort of issue if you don't attach them to docking panes as picture boxes
