Anyone knows of some good controls (simple and with great functionality) like the ones from componentone specially the Number, Date and the fantastic Grids?

codejock ones? use report control for the grid?

for spreadsheet type grids, i use farpoint spread...

I was talking about TDNumber, TDDate... True DBList, Treu DB Grid.

Can you skin farpoint spread with codejock skinframe?

Not tried it as this application isn't using the CJ Skinning framework, but it looks quite slick so you can probably try to match the look and feel of the spread to something similar for CJ.
