I have a situation where I started using docking panes in an existing application. I have installed this at the client site and now want to add another pane. I am using the LoadState. I have added the new panel but it never displays. The LoadState seems to distroy the pane (since is wasn't there when last the state was saved). If I remove the LoadState every pane is displayed (even the new pane) but the layout is of course back to the default.

How do I read the save state for the previously existing panes and have this new pane displayed in a default location that the users can then position where they want for the SaveState?

Hi,

Just change Section name for LoadState/SaveState when you change number of panes (Like "NormalLayout2" instread "NormalLayout")

Thanks, Oleg.

I was hoping to save the layout of the panels that the users have already personalized (and also hoping not to have to do a lot of programming to accomplish this.)
