I use the SaveStateToString method to save the layout of the XtremeDockingPane into a ini file. I start this action by in the close event of the from. Sometimes it seems, that this moment ist notīthe best, because when the form is closing, the DockingPane structure is set to nothing. The rsult is a uncomplete Setting String. Does anyboy knows a better way or event, to use the SaveStateToString method? The resize event of the CommandBar or DockingPane is also nit the best time to use SaveStateToString method.

Assuming you're using VB6, can use the QueryUnload event?
