3 month since the last release, I think it's fair to ask what's coming next

Hi,

Major things for MFC will be skinned Menus for SkinFramework, GDI+ for Markup, Designer for Ribbon.

Do you replace GDI with GDI+ or is it possible to choose the backend? Why don't you use something like http://cairographics.org/ ? The LGPL license allows to ship Cairo as a DLL, just like GDI+ without affecting your own license.

I'm curious about this as well. I think GDI+ will be a useful addition to current markup capabilities, but in certain situations the rendering speed of GDI is more appropriate.

Hi,

It will be option to turn GDI+ off. GDI+ will render only shapes. Text will be drawn with GDI for better speed.
