Product: Xtreme SyntaxEdit (ActiveX) version 12.1.1
Platform: Windows Vista (64bit) - SP 1 Language: C++ Hello! I'm testing my SyntaxEdit application and I have found two rare cases: If I open a file containing the sentence: "hola mundo" via TSyntaxEdit OpenFile(), I could see the word: "潨慬洠湵潤" into the editor. (OCX Unicode version) If I open a file containing the sentence: "hola mundo" via TSyntaxEdit OpenFile(), I could see the word: "?????" into the editor. (OCX ASCII version) If I save the editor content in a plain text file via TSyntaxEdit SaveFileAs() and I open this file, I could see FF FE before the word "hola" (editing in hexadecimal mode). I haven't been able to find other sentences that produce similar errors. Can anybody tell my what is happening, please? Thanks in advance. |

Hi!
Doing more testing I have realised that my problem happens when the first word I write has an even number of letters and the second word has an odd number of letters, for example "aaaa bbbbb" or "aa b". I think the editor doesn't know how to represent this words (ASCII, UTF8, UTF16,...). Thanks. |

First of all, thank you very much for your help. I have tried with sentences like "bush hid the facts" or "this app can break" and the SyntaxEditor works fine. I think the problem is related to this but it isn't exactly the same. I'm going to continue reading about this problem. Greetings! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ante todo, muchas gracias por tu ayuda. He probado con la frase "bush hid the facts" o "this app can break" y el SyntaxEdit funciona correctamente. Creo que el error está relacionado con eso pero no acaba de coincidir exactamente. Seguiré leyendo sobre el problema con las pistas que me has dado. Gracias de nuevo y un saludo. |
