Paint problem in output pane of VS example

   When running the visual studio sample and switching to the output pane and typing some text I noticed the text wasn't drawn correctly and the caret falls behind. If you then select the (bold) text it shrinks and if you press the left mousebutton in the output pane (to deselect the text) the text returns to the original size but is still all garbled up. This was found using v11.2.1.
