Hi,

I tried add menu + StastusBar for standard sample from MDIExtender package and it works fine for me.

Send to support@codejock.com sample you tried + MDIExtender you use.

Hello,

I see. Problem that MDIExtender creates additional parent form that become Maximized instead of original form and status bar  can't find if WS_MAXIMIZED style was set.

You can see absolutelly same problem with StatusBar from Microsoft Common Controls

We can add property ShowSizeGripper for Statusbar for next release. I can attach for you version with this property in issuetrack.
