Yes its designed. Visual Studio and Word 2003 act same.

Hello Oleg,
Thanks for reply, but Office 2007 acts in different way. Try to open Word 2007 and click on the Font edit control (without opening the font combo) you will see the focus inside the font edit control and all tooltips and hot tracking animations are working. Actually the problem for me is not in animation or the tooltip. Cosider this scenario: I have a commandbar with one xtpControlEdit and one xtpControlButton, the Button is Binded to 'Enter' key. When the EditControl has the focus, the user has to press Enter key twice to execute the action associated with the CommandButton. The user must press 'Enter' to loose the focus from the EditControl, and press Enter again to execute the action associated with the CommandButton. |
