It seems to me that neither CXTPDockingPane nor CXTPDockingPaneBase are tooltip enabled. As users are normaly able to resize docking panes, making (attached) docking pan tabs title text shortened (ending with elipsis),  it would be very helpfull to provide tooltip support. Is this possible currently?

What do you mean?  What other issue?  Oleg said that the next release will support tooltips.  You can try the beta 9.70 at http:\\beta.codejock.com

Please note the modification about dockpane tooltips in 9.6!
I check the code but still know nothing about the improvement!
But there is tooltips in 9.6.
Could you give the point about why there was no tooltips and there is now?

And Another question is it possible for CXTPTabControl to have the tooltips?
I run tabmanager sample with 9.6 and find there is no tooltip on xtptabcontrl but is on dockpane, tabclient, etc!

The tooltips was added in 9.50. See original post it was in "11 May 2004"

call EnableTooltips to enable tips for CXTPTabControl .

I compare the folder /tabmanager/ and find no difference about tooltips function.
How could it work?
