I tried my best to add records in Virtual mode from a database.
In the attached project, the whole report area is filled with a single data row and that, too, relatively very slow.
Moreover, I could not get the pointer to first record "alphabetically 'Z'" when in descending sort order.
Guide me please.

Thank you very much.
No additional command was to be given for sorting in normal mode and worked perfectly. But in Virtual mode, the column is not sorted when I clicked on the column heading. Is this feature not available for Virtual mode?

Hello,
Please check code and try to understand how it works - virtual mode doesn't have any real rows - it only show what you give. So you need to sort your table first and show sorted in report.
Actually if you have less than 1000 records better use standard mode.
