Is there some way that I can programmatically set focus to a control located in a form associated with a docking pane?

I tried:
  frmExample.oControl.setfocus

But this always results in 'Invalid procedure call or argument'.

I assume that this occurs because the frmExample may not be 'visible' as it is subclassed?  Any ideas?

Thanks,

-RG
