We are considering purchasing the Xtreme components and i'm currently working on seeing how our application works with the Xtreme components. However, the main thing that pointed us to Xtreme is the example picture showing the MS Money task bar. I've looked through all of the example provided with the evaluation package and cannot find a good example of it, as seen in the tour of this software: http://www.codejock.com/products/commandbars/tour_01.asp I've been searching through the help, and had a brief search on this forum, but just wondered if anyone had any example code of replicating (in style at least) the MS Money taskbar? Any help would be much appreciated. Regards, Phil Edited by PhilJeary |

This functionality is not available in the ActiveX version. Are you using/evaluating ActiveX?

Thanks for your reply Robs, and yes, I am evaluating the ActiveX component, which is unfortuante as I haven't looked at .net yet and my C++ knowledge is basic to say the least, and unused for 5 years! Hopefully Xtreme will impress enough that we purchase it anyway as I find it relatively easy to use. I could program a Money style toolbar myself, but its time consuming to do for every button on the toolbar, and we have quite a few bars to do therefore: If anyone happens to know of an ActiveX control that emulates the MS Money toolbar(Big icon with text that changes on highlight and a user definable background that can be changed at runtime, where the icons that dont fit onscreen get added to a dropdown) a nudge in the right direction would be much appreciated (despite being on the Xtreme Forum ). If I find one, it shouldn't be too much trouble to integrate it into my MDI form, which I currently have set up with Xtreme menus, panes and the outlook bar. Edited by PhilJeary |
