If you create a new event by double clicking on the calendar, then select recurrence button, then cancel it changes the window as if a recurring event was created.  Then if you say okay to save the event, it does not save the event. Also create a new event by double clicking on the calendar, then select recurrence button, click ok, before clicking okay to save event, go back into recurrence button and remove occurrence. Puts crazy new events on calendar.

Well, I see. Actually, this is a problem of only a Calendar sample application logic (ex: it asks Calendar control to create an appointment by 9999 year, etc).
It shouldn't be hard to fix, and in your custom application it should never happen :) Will include the fix with the sample in the next release. -- WBR, Serge
