Hi!
XTP 9.70 I am using a CXTTipWindow class with a report control to display multiline tooltips for my report cells. I realized, that when my report control window is to close to the right side of the screen, the tooltip window isnot dispayed. probably because there is not enough space left. how can I handle this ? I need my toopltips displayed for any position of my report control window. thanx in advance! regards, Hans |

Hi!
I have more details to this problem: I am using the ShowTipWndow(const CRect& rect, const CPoint& point, ...) member which uses a rectangle and a point for the position of the tooltipwindow. When the rectangle for which the tooltip should be displayed is very close to the right side of the screen, the tooltip window just gets visible if I move the mouse to left side of the provided rectangle. when I move the mouse cursor somewhere else inside the rectangle, the tooltip window isnt displayed... any hints on how to solve this would be greatly appreciated, thanx in ádvance! regards, Hans |

Hello, You can updarade your sources to 9.81. ReportControl now supports multiline tooltips without additional classes. |
