Hi,

Is there anything in the toolkit pro that allows tabbed views within an application to be converted to popup overlapped views / frame windows.

I have an application where the new views should be created as tabs in the mainframe, but with a second monitor, i may wish to float one or more of these views so that they can be moved to another part of the screen independent of the main application.

I thought there was something in the toolkit to allow this. Can someone help. If this is not supported, then will it be considered fot a future release.

Regards

Douglas.

Check Samples\ToolkitPro\MDITabWindow

it shows how to move from MDIChild Frame to Docking Frame.

Hi,

Actually I just noticed that sample, that was the one i was looking for.

But I don't necessarily want the views to be converted to dockable windows, I would like sort of Top Level VB style non-dockable frame windows with the views in them, not the mini frame docking windows. Is there a way that this can easily be achieved?

Also, do you have any plans to create a grid control class? The Report view is not what I am looking for. Something to display sheets of numbers, with colorable cells, and user definable columns. Sort of like the one from Rogue Wave's Stingray toolkit. I don't want to use 2 toolkits if I can help it.
