Horizontal + Vertical Tab and Layout

   All the sample code, ie. VS7, demonstrate that either Horizontal OR Vertical Tab groups can be active at any point in time. What I mean is I cannot get both to work together as VS7.1 can.
Have played a little bit with it but seem to be unable to get it to do what I want..  workspace either becomes seperated by vertical or horizontal splitters (but never both)
Is this possible, and if not what are the workarounds to achieve this?

	Just to correct the question, it looks like VS 7.1 can't do it either ;-) The reason I thought it could is because I use the Window \| Split feature a lot and was under an impression it could group with both horizontal and vertical tabs. Anyway, just a thought it would really rock if this kind of layout was possible.
