QuickAccessToolbar and Manual Update

   If I have a control in the Ribbon that I have set to manual update using the flag xtpFlagManualUpdate, basically because the ON_UPDATE_COMMAND_UI is not needed since it should be always enabled. And I add this control to the QuickAccessToolbar, the flag is not  transferred, meaning that it is now grayed out.
Am I doing anything wrong, or what can I do to fix this?
