Hello Codejock community.

Whenever a Docking Pane is closed does the pane retain all dimensions and features and simply becomes hidden.

Let's say I have a Docking Pane with dimensions of 250px width and 250px height. When I close the Pane I expected that the dimensions of that Docking Pane to be 0width x 0height, but after closer investigation it looks that the Docking Pane retains it's dimensions. So when the Docking Pane is closed and not visible to the user, it still has 250x250 dimensions.

Is this the intended functionality?

I believe so. If you save the layout, those values will be saved. That way, if you load the layout at some point in the figure and dock that pane, it will have the expected size.
