Problems using SkinBuilder

Hi, 
Trying to use the SkinBuilder utility in version 15.1.3, but having no success at all, and there is no help provided for it.

I have created a new Office 2007-style skin, so that I can alter the background fill colour of some of the controls, however I'm unable to enter new colour values as most of the properties of the controls seem to be disabled and can't be changed.  In the screen shot below I'm trying to edit the Bg Fill colour of the Edit Text control, but the "FillColor" property is disabled.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
