Steps to reproduce: Start Pane sample Maximize main window Dock pane with autohide pin to the bottom of the main window Push autohide pin Hover mouse over hidden pane tab to expand one Drag expanded pane top border to set maximum pane size (this pane size may be set during pane creation ) Restore Down main window and set vertical size smaller Hover mouse over hidden pane tab to expand one Result: Pane expanded in size we set early and doesn't have caption, so we cant unhide this pane now.

Actually Visual Studio .NET acts same. We don't think it is bug. You can restore your application again to unhide pane. |

Even if Visual Studio .NET acts same this is a bug. I describe just sample how to reproduce this bug. In our real application we have pane wich act as described without manipulation with main window(main wnd is always maximized) and user never can unhide this pane. We create pane with initial vertical size equal to mainframe client size. Then user hide the pane to bottom panel, client area decreased on size of autohide panel, but pane keep size equal to old client area and, as result, pane caption is unavailable to user then pane expanded. In this case user can't do anything to restore pane. This is bug. Detail : we hide client Edited by Deer |

You propose just workaround on a real bug... We set such size not for our pleasure, we convert sizes from old pane layout format and can't change sizes without lost layout. |
