After reveiwing the docs/samples/etc I'm still confused, sorry.
Isn't it possible to use OLEDragDrop in a commandbar button? I see that ListView, ListBox and Treeview have OLEDrag but not Button??? There is an example of dragging a button in a gallery in a ribbonbar but that's all I can find?? I dont' want to use a ribbon bar, just a command bar with several buttons. I want to be able to use OLEDrag/Drop on several of the buttons on the commandbar (not all). I must be missing something here?? Thanks! Gary |

Sorry for not being precise, Oleg, but I dont' want to drop something 'to' a command bar button.
I want to drag a button 'from' the commandbar. Or if I cannot do that at least be able to detect MouseDown, MouseMove and MouseUp so that I can implement drag/drop myself. Please let me know if: - I can detect/perform OLEDrag 'from' a button on a commandbar - How I can detect MouseDown, MouseMove, MouseUp on a button on a commandbar Thanks! Gary

To more clear, I do not want to do this from a button in a gallery on a ribbon bar. I do not have or want to use a ribbon bar.
I have a command bar with several buttons. I want to be abe to OLEDrag from these buttons on a commandbar. Or at leas be able to detect mouse events on these buttons so that I can implement Drag/Drop myself. Thanks again! Gary

To be crystal clear (;-) I'm on v13 now but we could/would upgrade to latest version of CJ if it would help this issue.
Thanks!
