Design flaw in 13.3.1?
 
virtual CString GetGroupCaption(CXTPReportColumn* pColumn);
 
should be

virtual CString GetGroupCaption(CXTPReportColumn* pColumn, CXTPReportRow *pRow);

That way, you can read the items of the current row (such as number of children in a group) and format the caption.

I still find this tricky. How would you format groups as such: "Blablabla (42 children)"
 
... when you don't know the number of children?

Hi,

You can override CreateGroupRow and return your own Group Row class with own GetCaption method.
