I have more than one control with a particular ID in the CommandBars object, e.g. one in the menu and one on the toolbar. If I would like to find one of those controls I can use FindControl with recursive set to True and this works fine.
But if I want to find all controls with a given ID, to disable them for example, what is the recommended approach? Thanks Stefan |

It seems that the answer it to use CommandBarActions. I am looking this now and will post a solution if I find a decent one.

Hi,
Yes you need Actions or Update handler to disable/enable controls - see any our sample
