CXTExcelTabCtrl and scrollbar

   I add a CRichEditView in a CXTExcelTabCtrl, and want only the scrollbar on the CXTExcelTabCtrl to appear, which scrolls the richedit view. I disable the richedit ctrl's scrollbar with EM_SHOWSCROLLBAR, but then the CXTExcelTabCtrl scroll bar is disabled as well. How can i make the CXTExcelTabCtrl's scrollbar usable but hide the richedit 's own scrollbar?
