Sometimes I need to show a TaskDialog before my application shows any form. The TaskDialog doesn't appear in the taskbar by default (which is a good thing in most cases), and unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a property such as ShowInTaskbar. Questions:
1) Is there a way to show the TaskDialog in the task bar? 2) If not, is there any chance of adding this feature as a property (ShowInTaskbar = True/False)? Thanks. |

No, because it is technically impossible, or no because you don't want to add the feature? Maybe you could expose the TaskDialog Hwnd property and I could try modifying the window style myself?

Hi,
Main problem with our TaskDialog control that in Vista we use standard TaskDialog that Vista provides. So we can't add any property/method that will work with our own implementation of TaskDialog but won't work with Vista's one.
