A problem with Vista's UAC (User Access Control) is that it doesn't allow the dropping of files into my apps CXTShellListCtrl (or any other ToolkitPro control) due to UAC's permissions dragging and dropping from low "elevated" processes, etc.

I can sign my exe for use with uiAccess and make my low process elevated but as the ToolkitPro is a DLL I cant elevate it...... or can I?

Anyone know a solution to this problem?

Hi,

You can build application statically. It will include all toolkit code to your exe.

Add
#define _XTP_STATICLINK in stdafx.h
