Does anybody know how I can add a custom slider control to a Designer toolbar? The CommonControls example creates the control in the ON_XTP_CREATECONTROL handler. But the handler doesn't get reached when controls are read in from the designer. Thanks in advance.... |

You must manually add it in code: pToolbar->GetControls()->add(new CXTPControlCustom()...) and recreate original controls to support "Reset" command. pToolbar->GetControls()->CreateOriginalControls();

Thanks Oleg -- when I did this I can create a slider, but it looks very bad when I use the Office2003 theme -- is there any trick to making the slider use the theme?

Add manifest file to use XP themes. (see manifest.xml in our samples) |
