Alphablend Selection

   Can anybody tell me of a way to alphablend a selected row. I have had a complaint about one of my apps. I have a watermark in the Report Control which is masked by the selected row. I believe that alphablending might over come this or at least a slight transparency effect.

I know its purely cosmetic, customer is very picky!!!
Any ideas ???
