when i add a date picker to a commandbars menu as a custom control (xtpControlCustom) it is not functional. When i click on a specific date, the control disappears, the date does not change, and no events are fired.

Try to to place the date picker into a picture box, it may work....

Are you shure, that you set the handle of the picturebox ?
It's work for me right.
