Is there any documentation on the CommandBarDesigner? I *think* it is some kind of IDE for creating CommandBars for apps. Can I use it in place of Microsofts primitive toolbar resource editor? Does it let me author large/small toolbars with alpha channels? I see some intriguing references to it in the online help(bSerializeDesignerControls), but no explanation on how to use it with my app. As an experiment, I tried importing “GUI_WhidbeyD.xml” into the designer but I got an error. |

Hi, Primary it used for ActiveX, for MFC we recommend to use standard primitive :)toolbar resource editor. But if you like it more see Samples\CommandBars\DesignerSample how to load xcb file from code. We have anoth samples with alpha icons that don't use designer. All you need is to create toolbar in resource editor and replace bitmap (in res folder) with you alpha icons. |
