Hi all,
We're trying to release a Beta version of our app but in the last minute we discovered a problem with XtremeSuite's OCX files deployment. Here's what's going on. The previous Beta was using 9.6.0.1. It was installed using regsvr32 (we only used the DockingPane and the CommandBars). Worked fine. Now we're trying to install 9.7. And it doesn't work. I first unregister the previous files with regsvr32 /u and then register the new ones. But when I run the application, I get a "You do not have a license to use this ActiveX control" error. BTW, the program works perfectly on all devel machines. Hint: unregistering 9.6 leaves some Registry entries behind: XtremeDockingPane.DockingPaneGlobalSettings and XtremeCommandBars.CommandBarsGlobalSettings. I sense that therein lies the problem... Any help would be greatly appreciated because we need to release... I'll keep looking for a solution on my end as well. Thanks in advance Michal Blazejczyk |

Hi Michal -
9.7 appears to have a different licensing scheme. You can find the .lic files in your bin directory (on my computer that is C:\Program Files\Codejock Software\ActiveX\Xtreme Suite Pro ActiveX v9.70\bin). You'll need to include these files in your distribution. Cheers ~ Jp |

Hello, You cannot redistribute the .lic file with your application. This is a violation of your end user license agreement and is not permitted. The .lic file only intended for the registered end user and not for distribution with your product. If you are having diffulties, please contact technical support: https://www.codejock.com/support/index.asp Regards, |
