Setting statusbar description texts

Message Topic Search Topic Options Post Reply Create New Topic Printable Version Translate Topic

   What is the best way to set the DescriptionTexts for the statusbar ? Do I have to do it like that:
Set Control = _
.Add(xtpControlButton, ID_FILE_NEW, "&New", -1, False)
.Find(xtpControlButton, ID_FILE_NEW).DescriptionText = "New file"

or is there a better/easier way ? Perhaps I can set it in the add method ?
