Time Reports for Calendar Events

I am using Codejock
Xtreme Calendar ActiveX 2012 (15.3.1) with MS SQL Server.

Given the
way the events are stored, I would like to know if anyone has a way to sum all
scheduled events or select all occurrences of a recurring event over a period
of time in order to calculate the overall time spent.

For example,
does there already exist a method available to me to calculate the sum of the
durations of the occurrences in a never ending series of events that has an occurrence
every other day within a period of a month? This one situation is easy to find
but there are many recurrence patterns. Is there something that will make this
task easier at least?
