Row Headers in Report Control

Is there a way to create row headers in a ReportControl?  In other words, row labels that would look like the Column Headers?

We have a report generator that outputs grids of (usually) numbers, as in a spreadsheet, with labels across the top (in Column Headers) and down the left side.  Right now, the left axis just consists of ReportRecordItems, but ideally the row/column headers would have the same look and feel.

This is one of those questions that must have come up before, but I can't see anything.  Any pointers appreciated,
