Hi,

I think this will cause a headache...

I am able to reproduce this with my own application (in IDE and exe) so it's definitely a bug. If you ask me, look in (added) implementation with insertionpoints when having a topmost form issue: http://forum.codejock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=16149&KW=drop+arrows&PID=56637&title=solved-red-droparrows-dont-show-if-form-topmost#56637

I said I'm able to reproduce it, this is what I did:
  • select an item from a Commandbars Combobox
  • set focus to another window (explorer)
  • drag a column in header and every insertionpoint that will be shown, doesn't disappear.
I said in  http://forum.codejock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=16149&KW=drop+arrows&PID=56637&title=solved-red-droparrows-dont-show-if-form-topmost#56637 that I will leave the candle burning for while but I believe you will need it Andre Wink

Good luck!!!

Hi,

I'll look into this bug, but I don't think it's a showstopper for the release.

Hi Andre,

I don't say it's a critical one but close, very close.

I have 3 ReportControls on one form and if the problem occurs you have this problem on all three (actually two because one is in IconView)

Maybe it will help you a bit...
  • On another form I have also a CommandbarCombobox and RC but that seems to work OK...
  • If form (main form) looses focus and problem occurs and I select an another item of CommandbarCombobox the problem isn't there anymore. If application looses focus again it's there again.

btw When do you start replying in "small list of bugs" post? There are a few unsolved issues / questions and I would like to close that post before opening a new one Tongue

Thanks

The same thing has happened to us after upgrading from 13 to 15.1.1 and now 15.1.2. For us it seems to be if the report control is inside a docking pane. When it's not in a docking pane it works ok.
