XTP 13.4.
<TextBlock>C:\Program Files (x86)\Codejock Software\MFC\Xtreme ToolkitPro v13.4.0\Workspace\ToolkitPro\Release\vc100</TextBlock>
If you want to display this textblock in a control with insufficient width, it makes sense to use PathCompactPath to compress it a bit. I know System.Windows.TextTrimming does not define such a trim mode. Can this be accomplished somehow using markup? If not, consider it a feature request :)
Edit: Looks like people already found this flaw in WPF:

No chance for an extension?

I agree that TextTrimming='PathEllipsis' would be a useful extension.
I tried implementing the workaround as described at your link, but I couldn't get it working reliably with CJ markup (I never found a way to prevent the filename portion from moving too far to the right when the visible client area was really wide). |

Just would like to chime in with my vote as well. Would like to see this added to the feature roadmap.
