    Posted: 22 October 2009 at 8:30am
Hi everyone, in our product we want to display a tree of items in a combo but don't want the user to be able to select a parent node. To achieve this we've opted for a CXTPButton with a dropdown arrow. When clicked we then display a popup menu. This ensures the user can only select leaf items.

However, certain people have commented that the menu dropdown doesn't look like a normal combo box dropdown.

So, my questions are

(a) Is it possible to remove the icon column on left hand side of the popup menu?
(b) Is it possible to change the font of the text inside the popup menu?

regards

Hi,

You can call pPopupBar->ShowGripper(FALSE); for this popup bar.
But think its looking good - you show tree menu - not combo items. maybe only align it to ro right of button , or to bottom but aligned to right.
