Can the Tabbed Toolbar restore to the state it was when the app exited?

I'm calling SaveCommandBars/LoadCommandBars but the Tabbed Toolbar always resets to it's original state.

All I'm doing is this.
1. Remove a button (Alt+Drag) from one of the tabbed toolbars
2. Exit the program (SaveCommandBars is called)
3. Relaunch (LoadCommandBars is called)

The tabbed toolbar comes up with the removed button intact. How can I get it to remember it's previous state?

Hi,

Do you create it same way as our sample ?

if you manually add each button, try call

pToolBar->GetControls()->CreateOriginalControls() after layout done.

I don't think I did. I didn't think I had to dissect the tabbed toolbar to that level.

You don't have to do that for regular toolbars, why for a Tabbed Toolbar?
