Hi All,

Just a "quick question"...

I'm trying to determine if a Command Bar is currently attached / Docked to another Command Bar (ie, is displayed on the same row).

Does anybody know what property would tell me this?  I thought 'position' would, but it doesn't.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Andy

Hi,

You can call GetWindowRect for ToolBar to check and for all other ToolBars and check if "Top" or "Left" (for Vertical) value is  same.

Hi Oleg,

I'm a little confused?  If I had 3 different CommandBars, each on seperate rows - couldn't they all have a position of "Top"?

Regards,

Andy

Hi,

if they are in 3 separate Rows all "Top" positions will be different.

Hi Oleg,

I've tried the GetWindowRect method in the past and have struggled to get it to work within the Clarion environment.  Is there any other way I can get to the positions? or could you explain the GetWindowRect in more detail.

Basically, I've declared 4 long variables and try passing them as parameters but I keep getting 'Type Mismatch' for the parameters.

Regards,

Andy

Hi Oleg,

I've just figured the Clarion 'getWindowRect' interface out (its marvelous what you can accomplish when you're under pressure!)

Thanks for help, its much appreciated.

Regards,

Andy
