(Now resolved -- problem only with some image files) Just using the RibbonBar sample, I want to use icon in the MessageBar. Using Markup with <Image Source='1234'/> I have read the earlier messages in this Forum and I have tried all the suggestions. But I cannot get the icon to show on screen. I have an ImageManager control with this icon. And I have used CommandBars.GlobalSettings.Icons.AddIcon ImageManager.Icons |

Yes, I assigned 1234 ID to the image.
I also used image ID 1234 in popup button etc and it works fine there. I tried other icons also but I cannot get any of them to work in MarkUp. |

Sorry CodeJock, it was all my fault !!!
I now find that SOME images do not display in MessageBar Markup (but display OK in buttons). However, some images are OK in MessageBar. So the problem is to do with the image. I will try and identify what is different about an image that makes MessageBar ignore it, and post the result here. (I thought all my images were 16x16 icons.... but there must be some difference). |
