After installing 12.0 I have been getting errors on closing Visual Studio 2008, saying that I can't save the
C:\Program Files\Codejock Software\MFC\Xtreme ToolkitPro v12.0.0\Workspace\ToolkitPro\ToolkitProStatic_vc90.vcproj.COMPUTERNAME.Username file.
I presume this contains the per-user options file. If I alter the permissions for the C:\Program Files\Codejock Software\MFC\Xtreme ToolkitPro v12.0.0 directory to ensure that my user name has full access to the directory, all is well. (I'm running under Vista, which could well make a difference.)
Is the installation program is not setting the directory permissions correctly?

Hi,
We set permission only for Samples and bin folder. If you compile toolkit with deployment wizard it will not be a problem.

Don't install in Program Files on Vista, it is read-only with UAC on.

Hi Oleg,
I don't recompile the file, but do add the following to my solution:
C:\Program Files\Codejock Software\MFC\Xtreme ToolkitPro v12.0.0\Workspace\ToolkitPro\ToolkitProStatic_vc90.vcproj
Even though I don't change it, Visual Studio seems to want to update the per-user configuration file and save it into that directory, which by default you don't have permission to do in Vista. Changing the overall subdirectory permissions fixes things -- the main reason for posting was so that anyone else getting the same error will know how to work around it.
