Just sharing a problem and the solution I wasted a few hours figuring out.
When using HtmlHelp and XTPSkinManager I got strange looking coloring on the help window. It turns out that when creating the HTMLHelp window a thread is used. If you have
XTPSkinManager()->SetAutoApplyNewThreads(FALSE);
set, then some of the controls in the help window will be skinned, other parts will not. The workaround is simple:
BOOL bAuto = XTPSkinManager()->GetAutoApplyNewThreads();
XTPSkinManager()->SetAutoApplyNewThreads(TRUE); HtmlHelp(0, HH_DISPLAY_TOPIC); if (!bAuto) XTPSkinManager()->SetAutoApplyNewThreads(FALSE); |

Hi,
Just curious, why you had SetAutoApplyNewThreads(FALSE) ?
